Each year, HSBC contacts each of the local high schools and asks them to nominate a Bermudian student from the graduating class based on the following criteria:
- High academic standing
- High level of effort and dedication to school work
- Community Involvement
- Interest in the Financial Services industry
- Plans to further education beyond secondary school
HSBC extends to these nominated students, a two-year holiday employment contract, to commence the summer following their first year of post-secondary education. Students can not apply to this programme, they must be nominated by their high school teachers.
