As an involved corporate citizen over many years, Bank of Bermuda set up three trusts through which it organised its charitable giving and scholarships. In order to consolidate Bank of Bermuda's philanthropic activities, Bank of Bermuda Foundation was established in 2000.
Bank employees and retired staff are encouraged and supported in their own generous charitable activity through the Foundation's Matching Donation Programme.
Bank of Bermuda Foundation will match staff donations of $50 or more to any registered charity or school in Bermuda. All full time HSBC employees or retired staff are eligible and the Foundation will match up to $2000.00 per staff member per year.
