How does it work?

The process couldn’t be simpler: Once you process credit or debit cards at the point of sale through your terminal, details of the card transaction are automatically sent to HSBC and the funds are deposited in your account.

You will typically receive payment the first working day after the transaction. The cardholder sees their transaction on the statement they receive from their card issuer.

To assist with reconciling your bank account, every week you will receive a merchant statement detailing the number and value of card transactions processed on your behalf.
