If you are a citizen of Bermuda, any of the following should be acceptable:

• valid Bermuda passport
• valid Bermuda driver's licence
• valid Bermuda voter's card
• valid Bermuda ID card
• valid Special Person's Card

If you are not a citizen of Bermuda, you should also acquire the following:

• valid passport and proof of your tie to Bermuda
• completed FATCA and CRS individual self-certification form

If opening a joint account, all parties must complete their own FATCA and CRS individual self-certification forms separately.

We will accept any of the following as a valid proof of address:

• valid Bermuda driver's licence
• signed lease document
• utility bill dated within the last 3 months
• current home insurance document
• employer's pay receipt dated within the last 3 months
• a signed letter from the person who lives with you in the same residence, including any of the above acceptable proof of address documents and a valid form of identification belonging to the signee
• a signed letter from a person in the same residence, with any of the above acceptable proof of address documents in the person's name and a copy of the person's identification letter from an employer (on company letter head)

Non-Bermudians will still be considered for an account if they can provide any of the following:

• proof of employment in Bermuda (i.e. a work permit or letter from an employer)
• proof of property ownership in Bermuda, including ownership of a timeshare of fractional share
• proof of studying in Bermuda
• proof of residency in Bermuda (i.e. a spousal letter or permanent residency certificate)
• proof of pension payment in Bermuda
