How the programme works

As one of our graduates, you'll get your own customised rotation schedule, so you can try out different roles within a specific global business or function. You'll also have a dedicated mentor who will guide you along the way and help you create a personalised career development strategy.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in either Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or a related discipline
  • 3.0 GPA minimum (or equivalent)
  • Strong desire to work in the financial services industry and an interest in banking
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in different situations
  • High level of energy, drive and commitment

Meet our current graduates

Ryne Cash

As a young Bermudian, Ryne enthusiastically joined HSBC’s Global Markets team in 2024. He developed his interest in markets early in life, inspired by his father. Studying at Saltus Grammar School from the age of 4, Ryne went on to spend 4 years abroad at the University of Edinburgh earning an MA in Finance and Business. As a student studying for his CFA charter and as a member of the Markets team, he is learning and growing his skills with the help of his experienced colleagues. Outside of work, Ryne is an avid chess player, boxer, and enjoys cooking on the weekends.

Max Marshall

Max attended St. John’s University, New York, where he graduated with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance, earning CPCU 552 and CPCU 520 qualifications. His academic and professional background has provided him with strong analytical skills and a deep interest in the financial industry. He joined HSBC in 2024 as Corporate & Institutional Banking's newest graduate. Prior to this, Max worked as an actuarial intern at WTW, where he honed his quantitative and analytical abilities. Max is excited to build a meaningful career in the financial industry, leveraging his previous experiences to make a powerful impact. Outside of work, he is a tennis player and enjoys staying active by lifting weights in the gym.

Scott Redmond

Scott obtained a degree in Finance, with a minor in Real Estate Finance, from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He joined as HSBC’s Wealth & Personal Banking graduate in 2024. He is drawn to banking for its blend of financial strategy and real-world impact, particularly in investments and real estate finance. Scott’s previous experience as a construction laborer has given him a strong work ethic and a practical understanding of real estate projects, further fueling his interest in the banking sector. Scott is a qualified tennis and pickleball coach, and enjoys playing sports, while giving back to the community through Nspire Bermuda.
