Why are customers no longer being added to HSBC Advance?

Periodically we review our offerings to ensure they are still fit for purpose and providing our clients with the best overall financial solutions and customer experience to complement their needs as they evolve. While we undertake this review, we will stop adding clients into HSBC Advance. Should there be any changes required, we will communicate via our normal channels.

What is the effective date?

18 August 2022.

How will existing Advance Customers be impacted by this change?

Existing Advance customers will not be impacted and can continue to enjoy the associated features and benefits HSBC Advance.

Will Advance be discontinued in the future?

We are currently reviewing the HSBC Advance offering to ensure that is still fit for purpose, and providing clients with the best overall financial solutions and customer experience. Should there be any changes required, we will communicate via our normal channels.

As a Personal Banking Customer will I have access to Advance benefits?

Effective 18 August 2022 the Personal Banking mortgage and bank reference rate will be reduced to be consistent with HSBC Advance. All other benefits will remain exclusive to existing Advance customers.

Will the new Mortgage rate be automatically applied to my existing mortgage?

No. The new rate will be available on new Personal Banking mortgages as of 18 August 2022.
